It is a requirement that a Minddistrict account is associated with a valid email address. All emails from the Minddistrict platform are sent to this email address. There are a number of different emails. 

  • Notification emails: The user received these when someone has sent a message. 
  • Task emails: The user receives these when a new task is ready. For example, if a therapist has prepared a new module for a client or if the therapist can give feedback after a client had completed a session. 
  • Task reminder emails: The client receives theses on Monday morning if there are still open tasks. This email is sent up to three times as long as no new tasks are added. 
  • Diary notifications: Diaries have notifications in the form of push messages. These push notifications are only visible if the client uses the Minddistrict app. Read here how the professional can customize/stop the push notifications.


Task emails are the only emails that cannot be turned off. 


Professionals


Professionals have the option to change the notifications of conversations. This can be done in the following way: 

  1. Under 'Profile', go to 'Settings' 
  2. Click on 'notifications conversations'
  3. Change the notifications as needed. The notifications for conversations can be turned off completely as well.

You can choose how often an email is sent when there are new conversations within Minddistrict. 



Clients

 

Clients can change/stop the notification emails and the task reminder emails. This can be done in the following way: 

  1. Under 'Profile', go to 'Settings' 
  2. Click 'Notifications conversations' or 'Task reminders' 
  3. Change the notifications as needed and save your changes. The notifications for conversations can be turned off completely. Uncheck the task reminder and save this. You will no longer receive the email on Mondays.
